Selected projects will receive $300,000 USD and 12 months of intensive support beginning in April 2027.

Projects demonstrating strong progress may subsequently qualify for up to another $200,000 USD, together with two additional years of tailored support.

The potential total support is therefore $500,000 over three years.

Follow-on funding will consider factors including progress on the core technology, evidence of product-community fit, public benefit and a clear roadmap showing what additional support could achieve.

Importantly, the funding is described as non-dilutive, meaning successful applicants do not have to surrender equity in exchange for the funding.

Applications will be reviewed through a multi-stage process.

The primary review takes place at the Initial Project Proposal stage. Only a small number of shortlisted applicants will then be invited to submit a full application.

This makes the initial proposal an important stage for applicants seeking to demonstrate why their technology represents a compelling Human-Scale AI alternative.
